This Week’s Highlights – November 6, 2017

Green Beans – Rain and freezing temps have curtailed harvest for this week, demand is high and supplies are very low.

Carrots – Extreme heat has affected supplies.

Melons – Honeydews have been in demand; we will see more availability as AZ starts this week.

Mushrooms – Hurricanes have affected TX/FL farms, burdening the industry over the next few months.

Tomatoes – All varieties – Little or no available volume in the U.S. due to the damage caused by Hurricane Irma, specifically in FL. Mexico supplies will not meet expected demand.
