This Week’s Highlights – November 5, 2018

  • Avocado – A strike in Mexico has stopped harvest this week. Supplies will be extremely short.
  • Corn – Supplies extremely short to nonexistent as GA’s crop was severly damaged by Hurricane Michael, with 95% of the corp lost.
  • Mushrooms – Supplies expected to be short through the rest of the year due to strong retail demand.
  • Onions – Green – The market is active due to limited supply and strong demand.
  • Potatoes – Sweet – Demand is strong as we head into the Thanksgiving pull.
