This Week’s Highlights – April 5th, 2021

  • Red and Yellow Bell Peppers – Good volume; Quality is outstanding.
  • French Green Beans – Good volume and light demand.  Quality is excellent.
  • Fennel – Good supply will continue for the next couple weeks. Quality and sizing are nice.
  • Kale (Green) – Bunched kale supply is expected to be plentiful for the next few weeks.
  • Tomatoes (Rounds & Romas) – Supply is steady. Quality is outstanding.  REMINDER: Do not refrigerate tomatoes. Refrigeration causes tomatoes to become mealy and loose flavor.

This Week’s Highlights – February 15, 2021

  • Yellow Bell Peppers – Quality is outstanding.
  • Passion Fruit – Good quality and supply.
  • French Green Beans – Good volume, quality is excellent.
  • Lettuce (most types) – Good supply, very good quality.
  • Rapini – Quality is strong with good supply.
  • Tomatoes – Rounds & Roma – Supply is steady, quality is outstanding.

This Week’s Highlights – November 23, 2020

  • Cauliflower – Supply will be light for the next 2 weeks.
  • English Cucumber – Supply is ramping up; quality is very nice.
  • Green Beans – Quality is marginal; supply is very light.
  • Red Leaf Lettuce – Supply and quality are very good.
  • Tomatoes – Roma & Round – Supply out of Florida will be limited over the next several weeks due to Tropical Storm Eta.

This Week’s Highlights – October 12, 2020

  • Pineapple – Volumes are improving. Quality is extremely high, should see good quality and supply for the remainder of 2020.
  • Red Cabbage – Supply is plentiful with great quality.
  • Tomatoes – Rounds – Escalated pricing, light supply and diminished quality for the next several weeks.
  • Tomatoes – Romas – Markets are up slightly this week and expected to continue to rise the rest of the week.  Expect escalated pricing through October.
  • Carrots – Supply issues with jumbo carrots due to excessive temperatures this summer.
