  • Asparagus – Good volume and quality, market slight lower. Anticipate steady demand, with no substantial changes until December.
  • Red Cabbage – Supply is plentiful with great quality.
  • Peaches – Good supply and quality available out of California, New Jersey and Washington.

  • Red Leaf Lettuce – Good supply and quality.
  • Artichokes – Good supply available this week. Quality is good.
  • Bok Choy – Supply and quality are good this week.
  • Peaches – Good supply and quality available out of California, Georgia and South Carolina.
  • Nappa Cabbage – Supply and quality are good this week.

This Week’s Highlights – June 8, 2020

  • Peaches – Good supply out of California, Georgia and South Carolina.
  • Red Leaf Lettuce – Good quality and good supply out of Salinas.
  • English Cucumbers – Good volume and good quality.
  • Cauliflower – Look for lighter supply heading into next week, as hot weather has slowed production.
  • Napa Cabbage – Due to extreme heat, Napa will show tip burn and weather related quality issues.

This Week’s Highlights – February 24, 2020

  • Romain – Supply and quality are good.
  • Green Onions – Supply continues to improve, market is steady.
  • Snow Peas – Good supply and quality.
  • Peaches, Plums and Nectarines – Good supply available out of Chili.
  • Potatoes – During the months of  March/April, when russet growing regions finish shipping their crop, the market may become very short as customers look to Idaho to fill their supply gaps.

This Week’s Highlights – June 24, 2019

  • Peaches – Domestic peaches are available out of South Carolina and Central Georgia…this week’s good buy.
  • Avocados – EXTREME – Record high field prices in Mexico, California is in their seasonal decline. Flexibility on sizing as well as origins is requested from suppliers.
  • Strawberries – Experiencing severe shortages and higher prices due to the past rain, followed by extreme heat in the berry growing region.  Check local farmers for supply and quality products.
  • Lettuce (all varieties) from West Coast Suppliers – ESCALATED – Short supply due to weather issues and the quality has been affected by the heat.
  • Corn – Good supply available on yellow, white and bi-color out of Florida and the desert.
  • Cauliflower – Supply is expected to be very good this week.
