This Week’s Highlights – October 11, 2021

  • Red, Yellow & Green Bell Peppers – Excellent supply and good quality.
  • English Cucumbers – The market remains very tight, but quality is good.
  • French Beans – Volume remains stable and quality is strong.
  • Herbs – Very good supply on almost all fresh herbs and quality is outstanding.
  • Broccoli/Broccoli Florets – Supply is light this week and the market is strong. Supply is not expected to return to normal until the end of November.

This Week’s Highlights – February 8, 2021

  • Grape Tomatoes – Supply improved this week and quality is very nice. Expecting steady supply over the next week.
  • Green Peppers – Normal volume and good quality out of Florida.  Good volume continues in the West, quality is outstanding.
  • Romaine Lettuce – Good supply and very good quality.
  • Grapefruit – Texas is in the peak of it’s season. Taste is very sweet and aromatic.
  • Navel Oranges – Overall quality is excellent.

This Week’s Highlights – August 19, 2019

  • Cantaloupe – Heat has caused more fruit to hit the market at once. Brix levels are mostly in the 12 – 15% range, with some attaining higher levels.
  • Butter Lettuce – Good volumes are available; demand is steady.
  • Green Peppers – Prices are down this week. Quality is fair, due to mix of old and new crops.
  • Eggplant – Readily available in Fresno and WA state and in several states in the East. Quality has been good on both sides of the country.
  • Brussels Sprouts – Supply is plentiful and quality is good.
