This Week’s Highlights – July 15,2019

  • Cucumber – Supply is tight in the West and prices are up this week. Easter supply is coming from Georgia and supply is steady.  Quality is fair to good.
  • Arugula – Supply and quality have improved and product is available.
  • Cauliflower – Supply is expected to be good, but will lighten up as we head into the weekend. Volume could be down significantly next week.
  • Celery – The market has finally stabilized. Plenty of supply available.
  • Sugar Snap Peas & Snow Peas – Quality is good, supply is abundant.

This Week’s Highlights – June 17, 2019

  • Watermelon – Quality is outstanding and promotions are available.
  • Pineapple – Trending toward smaller sizes. Quality is very good right now.
  • Eggplant – Quality is outstanding, volume is excellent.
  • Spinach – Supply and quality are good.
  • Cherries – Domestic cherries are available, but have suffered potential damage due to recent rain in the West.

This Week’s Highlights – May 13,2019

  • Red Bell Peppers – Prices are down this week…supplies are improving.
  • Cucumbers – Continue to drop in price. Quality is good to excellent.
  • Artichokes – Supply industry-wide is fair. Demand is fair and prices are steady to higher.
  • Broccoli/Broccoli Florets – ESCALATED. Supply is lighter this week.
  • Brussels Sprouts – EXTREME. Very light availability.
