Blackberries – California in peak production with large berries.
English Cucumbers – Market and supply are good; quality is outstanding.
Carrots – ESCALATED -Shippers are still struggling with jumbos and table due to labor (these are hand packed items). No constraints on peeled carrots, food service items.
Fennel – Good supply this week. Sizing and quality are excellent. Good volume will continue through at least next week.
Rapini – Production volumes are above budget this week. Expect quality to remain strong and supply to remain plentiful for the next couple of weeks.
Red and Yellow Bell Peppers – Good volume; Quality is outstanding.
French Green Beans – Good volume and light demand. Quality is excellent.
Fennel – Good supply will continue for the next couple weeks. Quality and sizing are nice.
Kale (Green) – Bunched kale supply is expected to be plentiful for the next few weeks.
Tomatoes (Rounds & Romas) – Supply is steady. Quality is outstanding. REMINDER: Do not refrigerate tomatoes. Refrigeration causes tomatoes to become mealy and loose flavor.
