- Red Bell Pepper – New crop out of California. Supply is stable and excellent quality.
- Blackberries – California in peak production with large berries.
- English Cucumbers – Market and supply are good; quality is outstanding.
- Carrots – ESCALATED -Shippers are still struggling with jumbos and table due to labor (these are hand packed items). No constraints on peeled carrots, food service items.
- Fennel – Good supply this week. Sizing and quality are excellent. Good volume will continue through at least next week.
- Rapini – Production volumes are above budget this week. Expect quality to remain strong and supply to remain plentiful for the next couple of weeks.
- Fennel – Increased supply; sizing and quality are excellent.
- Blackberries – Expecting peak supplies to continue through the end of August. Quality is good with large fruit size.
- Bok Choy – Supply is expected to be plentiful for the next three weeks.
- Onions & Potatoes – Trucking issues and rates seem to continue to create higher pricing and limiting the availability. Plan accordingly.
- Red and Yellow Bell Peppers – Good volume; Quality is outstanding.
- French Green Beans – Good volume and light demand. Quality is excellent.
- Fennel – Good supply will continue for the next couple weeks. Quality and sizing are nice.
- Kale (Green) – Bunched kale supply is expected to be plentiful for the next few weeks.
- Tomatoes (Rounds & Romas) – Supply is steady. Quality is outstanding. REMINDER: Do not refrigerate tomatoes. Refrigeration causes tomatoes to become mealy and loose flavor.
- Sugar Snap Peas & Snow Peas – Good supply and quality.
- Green Onions – Supply is plentiful with excellent quality.
- Fennel – Increasing supplies with very good quality.
- Broccoli/Broccoli Florets – Good quality and good supply/
- Pears – Very good supply and quality is excellent.
- Snow and Snap Peas – packed with great vitamins and nutrients; a good supply and quality to start the new year.
- Avocados – mainly small-sized fruits (60’s and smaller). Sizes will shift in late January and trend heavier on larger fruit (48’s and larger).
- Arugula – supply and quality are good.
- Fennel – sizing is on the small side; quality is strong overall.
- Napa Cabbage – supply and quality are good.
