- Cucumbers – Market and supply are good; quality is outstanding.
- Roma Tomatoes – Good supply and quality available. Expect improvement in shelf life, quality and size distribution over the next several weeks. Reminder: Do Not store tomatoes in the refrigerator, this causes a loss of flavor and a mealy texture.
- Red Leaf Lettuce – Good volume with good quality and the market is steady.
- Cauliflower – Supplies are expected to be plentiful this week. Overall quality and appearance are very nice.
- Broccoli/Broccoli Florets – Supplies are better this week.
- Napa Cabbage – Supplies are expected to be plentiful for the next three weeks.
- Asparagus – Good supply and quality available.
- Cucumbers – Florida continues to ramp up production and Mexico continues to see good numbers and quality.
- Italian Squash – Supply and quality continues to improve out of South Florida; quality and supply is good in the west.
- Raspberries – Uptick in volume this week; good quality and flavor overall. Expect volume to gradually decrease each week as we approach year-end.
- Romaine & Romaine Hearts – supply in the desert is better this week than expected. Demand has tapered off a bit post-holiday. Weights are improving and quality is excellent.
- Romain & Romaine Hearts – Both remain below normal budget volumes.
- Cucumbers – FOB prices are up again this week, volumes are short.
- Asparagus – Good volume and quality, market slight lower. Anticipate steady demand, with no substantial changes until December.
- Red Cabbage – Supply is plentiful with great quality.
- Peaches – Good supply and quality available out of California, New Jersey and Washington.
- Cucumbers – Good supply and good quality.
- Cantaloupe – Quality has begun to improve. June is forecasted to be a fairly consistent month as far as availability.
- Asparagus – Supply is increasing.
- Brussels Sprouts – Tight supply and fair to poor quality.
- Spring Mix – Supply and quality are great.
